Jody Kimrey is the President and Owner of Office Installation Services, Inc. Running one of the oldest and largest furniture installation companies in the state of Iowa. Growing and expanding the business for 20 + years with her business partner. Before the purchase she served as the companies General Manager, using that time to learn all aspects of the business.
At different times over the years she has served on Boards for The Northglenn Neighborhood Association working on committees and chairing events, The Johnston Chamber of Commerce, helping start, chair and run a Members-Only Business Expo, (IFMA) International Facilities Management Association of Central Iowa where she chaired events/programs and was even honored as the Member of the year. Her business is a Certified (TSB) Targeted Small Business registered with the State of Iowa.
She enjoys spending time with her Husband, Children, Family and Friends, attending soccer games, running, bicycling, and travel. While she has been an avid runner over the years completing a Marathon, several half marathons and the local Dam to Dam runs, she is working to become a road cyclist with bumps, bruises and scares to prove it.
I grew up on a farm in S.E. Iowa, received a bachelor’s degree from UNI, and eventually moved to Des Moines in 1990. My career at Office Installation Services, Inc. began in 1991. I started as a furniture installer, then operations manager, and eventually became co-owner in 1995. From the very beginning our goal was never to be the biggest but the best independent furniture installation company in Iowa. Our motto is to not only meet but exceed our customers’ expectations. I have a beautiful and very understanding wife and 2 beautiful daughters. My time away from work is dedicated to family, friends, being a gym rat, and living life to the fullest!
