Every furniture installer must be able to receive, deliver, unpack and install modular systems furniture, shelving, desks, files, boxes, chairs, contents, etc., as well as reconfiguration and refabrication as needed and any other furniture related items requested by the customer and agreed to by Office Installation Services, Inc. including but not limited to the list above. He/she should have a willingness to travel, available to work more than 40 hours a week including nights and/or weekends, have a current drivers license, dependable vehicle, good driving record, and purchase at his or her expense the tools required in our tools list stated in this manual. As an employee of Office Installation Services, Inc. whether full or part time, he/she has to be able to lift at least, but not limited to 75 lbs. Be able to assist in loading and unloading trucks and/or semi’s which may require climbing up and down from trucks and/or semi’s. An employee must be able to climb up or down ladders, walk, stand and be on their feet all day with minimal breaks.
TOOLS:
New employees are given 30 days to furnish tools that are required by the company. Installation tools required are as follows:
12-volt cordless drill
Dead blow rubber hammer
Drill bits
Magnetic tip holder
Phillips bits – #2 and #3
¼ drive socket set
5/16 and 3/8 magnetic nut drivers
Robertson square bits #1, #2 and #3
Channel lock pliers
Allen wrench set
Small level
Screw drivers: regular and Phillips
Tape measure
Hacksaw
Little prybar
Utility knife
Toolbox or Tool bag
